Kathryn Stephens, LPC-S
Licensed Professional Counselor
Certified Gottman Therapist

Kathy completed her master’s degree in counseling from Spring Arbor University, after doing her undergraduate work at Michigan State University. Following her degree in counseling, she pursued her interest in marriage and the family by becoming a certified Gottman Method Couples Therapist. She currently serves couples as well as individuals who deal with various issues. Kathy has been married for 50 years and has two sons and two grandchildren.

Dr. Nathanael Stephens has a B.S. in psychology from Michigan State University, an M.A. in counseling from Spring Arbor University, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Andrews University. His area of research is in workplace burnout, but he also works with a variety of psychological problems, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorders, sleep disorders, addictions, grief, and relationship problems.

He believes in advocating for people who feel powerless and helping people reach their full potential. Outside of work, he enjoys playing the piano and reading. He is a strong believer in the importance of family relationships and loves sitting at the beach and watching the waves.

Alicia Montoya, MA, LLP
Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist
Trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapist

Alicia has a B.A. in Psychology from Michigan State University, and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. In addition, she has obtained National Certification to provide Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of diverse backgrounds, with a variety of mental health needs including: trauma, grief and loss, anger, impulsive behavior, stress, depression, and anxiety.

She provides a calm, safe, and caring environment to support your healing and growth. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being an amateur “foodie”, singing and playing the piano, and traveling.

Taylor Rodriguez, MA, LLPC
Limited Licensed Professional Counselor

Taylor is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience with treatment for substance use/abuse issues. She also has experience addressing issues related to depression, anxiety, and relationship concerns. Her full bio is currently under development, and more information will be added in the future.
